Soon a new movie about Irmin Schmidt and CAN the band that many others as well value as the most important band from Germany is going to come to the cinemas.

Ein intimer Blick in das Leben und Schaffen von Irmin Schmidt, dem Gründer der Kölner Band CAN, die Generationen von Musikern in Pop und elektronischer Musik prägte. Der Film zeigt den Weg vom klassischen Dirigenten über den Schüler von Stockhausen und Ligeti zu CAN, weiter über Filmmusik für Wim Wenders und Roland Klick, Oper bis zur elektronischen Clubmusik.
