In the past always used to be … against SW but … Steven Wilson made me aware – well, a good friend of mine did to be precise – of his universe of progressive rock some years ago … tonight I made my way home after celebrating the 18th birthday of a young woman I do like very much. To be precise she’s the daughter of one of my colleagues and his wife who is also closely associated with our company which exists since 1998 … so I do know their lovely daughter ever since she was born 🙂

The reason why I have(!) to mention this young woman is not only because she plays an electric bass for quite some years now and one of my other colleagues was kind enough to give her his bass as a birthday present 🙂 I haven’t play her live so far but she seems to be really good at it – when she first staged playing this instrument she played a piece by Jaco Pastorius!

When I went back home tonight it was way too late to catch one of the regular buses so I had to wait twice … yes, listening to this album and it was quite an experience.
Ever since I listened to this album for the first time I loved the bass lines as well as Gavin Harrison’s stunning drum sets … marvelous!
